EARLY BIRD DRAW
The annual early bird campaign is held between September 1st and November 30th each year. By remitting your 2010 dues before November 30th you will be entered into the draw which will be held in early December, after a Saturday afternoon meat draw. For 2010 the three prizes will once again be $50.00 gift certificates.
Not “In Good Standing”
The BC/Yukon Command Branch Manual, page 45, states “a member not paid up by January 31st is not “in good standing” for any purpose. Such member is constitutionally prohibited from holding office and has no right to attend general meetings. Such member cannot be a voting delegate at Zone meetings or enter the licensed premises of a Legion unless signed in by a member who is in good standing. Once the yearly membership dues have been paid, the member is considered to be “in good standing”.
