Branch 60 Newsletter – The Torch

The torch is symbolic of justice, honour and freedom
for which our comrades fought and died.
We who are left must pledge ourselves to hold it high,
lest we break faith with those who died.

To READ a newsletter, just click on the Torch above each issue, and wait for it to load.

The Torch is in PDF format and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Click here to download this free program. We do NOT suggest trying to view The Torch if you are on dial up, as the files are quite large.

If you have an article you would like to submit please email to:

thetorch60@shaw.ca

or leave it in an envelope behind the bar addressed to "The Torch". Member and non-member Veterans and Branch 60 members will take priority in all issues. All other submitters will be considered on a case by case basis, reviewed for relevant content and included if space allows. Please keep your article to around 500 words (or less). Longer articles will be considered on an individual basis. Pictures of events are welcome if supplied in .JPG format and will be included based on appropriateness and available space.

When you sign up below, to receive e-mail notification of the next issue of The Torch, Branch 60 members will no longer receive a printed copy through Canada Post. Instead you will receive a small email announcing that The Torch is now available on the website and will include a quick link directly to this page. We welcome non Branch 60 members to sign up as it incurs no cost to our branch.
